Someone's Having A Birthday!

Typically I don't post on Sunday, but today is a special Sunday.  It is nonamedufus' birthday and Cheryl (obviously a different Cheryl)   over at Deckside Thoughts is hosting a surprise birthday party.  So here we all are hiding in a dark room...waiting ever so quietly....sssshhhhh...for nonamedufus to show up.

Where is the birthday boy?   Oh wait...I think I hear him coming!!!!

Perhaps they are just clowning around

Ignore the clowns.  Cheryl P. and Crabby Pants wish you a great birthday!

  2. Don't you just hate it when the clowns show up uninvited? (I thought I was the only one who did that.) Bring on the cake!

  3. LOL! Those are hysterical... now where exactly can I find Cheryl's joint? ;-)

  4. Babs, you are a great blogger friend!! Normally, I have to pay people to laugh at my stuff.

  5. I do...hate when clowns show up univited...especially addicted clowns looking for drugs. But I wouldn't mind scoring some Birthday Cake.

  6. Thank you, Nicky!!! I am not exactly sure about where Cheryl's joint is but I am sure the creepy clowns will find it.

  7. These are fantastical! I already smoked the joint so you guys are all going to have to find your own. Maybe Dufus will give you some of his stash.

  8. There are clowns at this party? No one told me there would be clowns.... Would someone please hold my hand?

  9. Good to know!! I will send the creepy clowns over to Dufus' place. Crabby Pants and i just want birthday cake. Who needs drugs when there is buttercream frosting in the world?

  10. Oh, Ziva!! Don't be scared...these two clowns are headed over to Dufus' place to wish him a great B Day.

I hope the birthday boy enjoys his surprise party!

  12. Oh, man, I love clowns. Well except when Stephen King writes about them. They're already here looking for cake. Thanks for the post and the birthday wishes, Cheryl. Is this a great birthday or what?

  13. Ha! Great witchy pun! Nicely done!

  14. Wouldn't it be great to know everyone's birthday. I think having virtual parties is super fun. The other Cheryl was so clever to organize this. You clown comment is hilarious... I bet the clown you married is the "super funny not a bit scary" kind.

  15. Hi Quirky Loon!! I had to throw in at least one pun in honor of Dufus' birthday. Thank goodness I couldn't think of 61 puns. That might of been over the top.

  16. You throw a great party in celebration of a party, Cheryl. I'll go check it out.

  17. The glory of having a virtual parking, no one can get drunk and drive. I am sure you will find a few laughs among these bloggers. A great bunch for sure.

  18. I try to keep my birthday under wraps. It's not that they depress me, it's more that I no longer enjoy too much fuss. Nonamedufus gives me gifts when he puts his puns in my comment section from time to time.

  19. I really should proof read...I had to correct parking to party. What was I thinking?

  20. You are the third blogger I've encountered to wish this Dufus a Happy Birthday. I better check him out.

  21. By all means do...he is the king of punsters. Nice man with a group of very nice followers. Plus I always enjoy hearing the Canadian perspective on various topics.

  23. Ha! The "Witching..." one is great! As for the clowns, they creep me out too - I share the same 'Stephen King issue' with others (but I never never understood those ones that walk upside-down in parades. Really, what if one got a .... oh, never mind).

    ;-)

  24. That's a fantastic birthday post. Very well done. And I agree - get rid of the clowns!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Gosh, here in the U.S. you would see clowns all the time. Every parade, every circus, most children's birthday parties....even community events. Ronald McDonald is present at a lot of events representing Ronald McDonald's House charities. Clowns don't actually freak me out. I was just playing around with the Crabby Pants cartoon.
I haven't had a surprise birthday party but I did have a surprise 25 year anniversary party.

  26. Depends on the clown as to whether I am creeped out. The average circus clown if fine, Ronald McDonald doesn't bother me but I wouldn't want to see anything related to horror movie clowns. I see what you mean about the problem that might arise with an upside down clown. Oh...you're right...never mind.

  27. Well...those two particular clowns seem to be less than funny and probably have an addition problem, but I am sure there are some very nice clowns out there. I wouldn't want to be known as the blog that is anti-clown. Are there any groups that are pro-clown associations that potentially might be boycotting my blog because of this post. Perhaps the Association for the Avancement of Clowns....AAOC. I wouldn't want to offend Ronald McDonald or any of his high powered friends.

  28. That may be one of the best lines you've ever said. I need to say that next time we get one another a gift. "Here you go, dude. Here's your birthday gift, an Amazon Gift card. I know it's not a REAL gift, but... don't be an ingrate."

  29. Ahahahahahah! Oh, Cheryl! Great job! And Happy Birthday, John!

    PS: Clowns = terrifying.

  30. Does Wayne read your blog? If yes, sorry no disrespect intended. If no, well he will never know.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes, he reads it but he would never get offended by anything said over here at TAOBC. He finds everything on this blog to be pretty funny. Good thing, huh?
As for Wayne's name...his brothers got way worse names so my Wayne is pretty lucky to end up with the name he got.
