Monday Musings

Sorry to say that today I am being a lazy blogger.  It happens from time to time that my heart is well-meaning, my mind is totally not co-operating and my available time is non-existent.

I have to be at the gym in 40 minutes so my trainer can beat my body into submission.  I am  toning up just thinking about it.

So here I sit, laughing at some billboards that were posted on the Internet.  Seems the people over at dribbleglass.com had someone traveling the highways and byways with a camera.

The Good for the Day...The weather is cooler.

The Bad for the Day...this is the 3rd day for severe storms in Kansas City

The Weird for the Day....The words "cassette tape" has been removed from the Oxford English Dictionary  as it is now considered obsolete but the word "brontosaurus" is still in it.

I was drinking Diet Coke and choked on the last billboard. Hilarious!

Diet Coke...I love diet coke. I have weaned myself to the bare mimimum of no more than one a day as it was truly becoming an addiction with me.
Don't waste a drop of it.

As always, Aleta, thanks for reading.

OMG, I need to change my pants now! I don't even know which one was the funniest...persons having their balls removed, SOPT, falling cows, survivors shot again...HYSTERICAL!!

Do you suppose there is an editor for signs? There is probably a fortune to be made. You would have to probably wear Depends to work though.

Amazing how much joy can be had from some of these signs. The Chinese restaurant name in the video reminded me of "fuk kin fried rice" which can be found on many Chinese resto menus. Makes eating out fun!

Busy or not, you still did a great job with this blog. I needed some funny stuff today. Thanks Cheryl, and btw, I've been hitting the gym and now I realize that it hits back;)
Have a great day!

I think I need to go to more Chinese restaurants. I have never noticed the fuk kin fried rice. What could be better than eating out and getting a cheap laugh.

Thank you, Leah. You are right about the gym fighting back but it makes you stronger in the long run. Good for you.

Thanks for the laughs. I needed that today.

Sorry I've been a terrible blogger lately. I'll be back soon.

No need to be sorry. I, too, am so far behind. I try to keep up with the reading but my comments have been minimal. I look forward to catching up with you when things slow down a bit. Take care and have fun with the kids.
